Okay, I’ll bite

  1. I am Profoundly deaf, from birth.
  2. Went to five schools in my life.
  3. I have acquired some weird qualifications in my schooling years, such as Horticulture III, but, can barely remember what I’ve learnt from it.
  4. My parents are deaf.
  5. Following on the parents snippet, my mum’s family is quite interesting, there is 8 children, four boys and four girls. All boys are left handed, two of them are deaf and two of them are hearing. All girls are right handed, two of them are deaf and two of them are hearing, my mum is the youngest of all eight children.
  6. I am freelancing as a Designer & Art Director, I am an autoditact (meaning, self taught… design and photography in this case.)
  7. I was featured in a major newspaper in Perth when I was about seven years old alongside with my friend who had deaf parents as well, but he was hearing himself. I think the article was highlighting our ease of communication at school because we were arranged into classes together.
  8. My wildest dream, which I am slowly working on, everyday! Is to be a photographer, much like Nick Knight… maybe, with some Helmut Newton… hell, even Nikola Tamindzic and Clayton Cubitt!
  9. I enjoy making weird looping 3d animations.
  10. I often dream of living in Europe… one day maybe!
  11. My better half and I have been together for 1 year and some together, loving every bit of it.
  12. I am ambidexterous (from the hip and down) in sports that requires kicking a ball and what not, such as football, australian football, etc.
  13. Loves height unconditionally, loves being on a plane… and so so!
  14. Socially inept… maybe?
  15. My dad is a chef, and I have acquired his anal rentetiveness towards qualities (especially the sharpness) of knives, I sharpen them before using it and sharpen them after. And things bout the kitchen in general.
  16. I was a teaching assistant at a prestigous all girls school, for AUSLAN, language - Australian Sign Language.
